Home Invasion on Hamilton Street Linked to Drug Dealing

By: Brian Connors

Police are seeking three masked bandits who broke into a house on Hamilton Street allegedly used for drug dealing and held a female resident at gunpoint late Sunday evening.

At about 10 pm, three masked men entered the residence, pulling a gun on the female resident. Three male residents of the home had seen the masked men approaching, and escaped by jumping out of a window, according to the female resident. Valuables were stolen such as cell phones, jewelry, and other items.

The bandits escaped, but police arrested the three male residents of the home on various charges. Cesar Terreros-Andreade and Edward Hernandez, 22 and 18 respectively, were both charged with obstruction, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The third male, William Lawrence, 23, is charged with obstruction at this time.

The female resident told police that she felt the suspects targeted her home because her roommates frequently dealt marijuana out of the residence.

After observing evidence inside the home that supported the female resident’s claim, authorities quickly apprehended the three male roommates a block away from the residence outside of a pizzeria.

This investigation is ongoing, as the original invasion suspects are still at large. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Brandt Gregus at (732) 745-5217.
