By Elizabeth V Zamora

Two Rutgers students and two others sustained minor injuries after a verbal argument at a party inside the Livingston B Dormitory, according to Rugers University Police Department.

Three or four individuals threw glass bottles at two students at the party at about 3:10 a.m. Saturday, April 19. Just outside, the two others, who were not unaffiliated with Rutgers “experienced minor injuries” and were sent to a local hospital after more bottle throwing, police said.

RUPD described one of the suspects as heavy-set, approximately 20 years old, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, light skinned and with dreadlocks. No further descriptions of the suspects were released.

RUPD was contacted for further comment, but no additional information was released.

Rutgers police is asking that anyone with information should contact the Rutgers Police Department Investigations Unit at 848-932-8025 or 732-932-7211.

RUPD is urging that students be aware of your surroundings, walk in groups when traveling late at night, and report any suspicious activity to local law enforcement immediately.
